In case you didn’t know…

Cedric Alexander is presently signed to WWE’s RAW brand and performs in the Cruiserweight division. The 27-year old, who is best known for his time in ROH (Ring Of Honor) from 2011-16, sustained a knee injury earlier this year.

The heart of the matter:

Alexander, who participated in the WWE Cruiserweight Classic in addition to his work on 205 Live, suffered an injury to his right knee. He even put out a tweet teasing his eventual return to the ring.

The initial diagnosis revealed that Alexander may be out of action for about 3-5 months. However, recent reports suggest that the young Cruiserweight Superstar may return to competition much sooner than expected.

Author’s take

Cedric Alexander is an extremely hard-working youngster and his knee injury was unfortunate, to say the least. It’s good to see that his recovery is going well, and I hope to see him back in the ring very soon.
