In case you didn’t know…
Kamala was a star in WWE back in the 1990s and is still remembered as the first superstar to lose to The Undertaker in a Casket Match back at Survivor Series 1992.
Kamala’s career never reached the heights of many stars at that time, but he was a popular superstar with the WWE Universe.
He was diagnosed with Diabetes back in 1992 and it seems that this illness led to a number of complications to his health in the years that followed. Kamala was forced to have both of his legs amputated a few years later and it was then reported that his health has been declining recently.
Kamala’s stepdaughter Juanita James provided updates on her Facebook page after it was revealed that the 67-year-old had been hospitalised earlier this week and forced to undergo emergency surgery due to more complications with diabetes.
The heart of the matter
Mike Johnson of PWInsider is now reporting that “The Ugandan Giant” was taken off life support earlier today and his condition has continued to improve since.
It seems that Kamala has once again defied the odds that doctors gave him a few days ago, as he continues to kick out at two.
What’s next?
Hopefully, Kamala’s condition will continue to improve over the next few days so that he is once again able to talk and return home to his family when he is considered to be strong enough.
Authors take
Kamala had a memorable WWE run, and it is quite surprising that he has not been inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame.
The WWE Universe once again supported the former star through this latest health problem, which shows just how popular the former star still is. This is great news for Kamala’s family and friends; hopefully, this good news is a sign of things to come.
